Data Protection

As the operator of this website, we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. The use of our website is usually possible without providing personal information. As far as personal data (e.g. name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit approval. We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Collection and processing of data

The website provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are: Browser type and browser version, operating system used, Referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer and time of the server request. The storage serves internal system-related and statistical purposes.

Use and disclosure of personal data

If you have provided personal data, we use it only to reply to your inquiries, to process contracts entered into with you and for technical administration. We explicitly assert that we do not pass on this data to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
You have the right to withdraw any consent at any time without negative effects.
Any personal data stored is deleted when you withdraw your consent for storage, if the information is no longer necessary to fulfil the purpose intended by this storage or if storage is not permissible for other statutory reasons.

Your rights as data subject

You may exercise the following rights at any time though our data protection officer (see contact details):

  • request information on the data about you stored by us and its processing,
  • request rectification of incorrect personal data,
  • request deletion of your data stored by us,
  • request restriction of data processing if we may not yet delete your data owing to statutory obligations,
  • appeal against the processing of your data by us and
  • reject data portability if you have consented to data processing or have entered into a contract with us.

If you have granted us permission, you can revoke this at any time with future effect.

You can resort to the supervisory authority responsible for you with a complaint at any time. The supervisory authority responsible for you depends on the federal state in which you live, your job and the alleged violation. You can find a list of supervisory authorities (for the non-public sector) with addresses at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Deletion/Blocking of data

We follow the principles of data reduction and data economy. We store your personal data only so long as is necessary to accomplish the purposes named here or as provided for by the many different storage periods stipulated by law. After discontinuance of the respective purpose or at the end of these periods, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with statutory provisions.

Cookies

Webfonts

To present our content correctly and attractively in all common browsers, we use type libraries on our websites of „fonts.com“ [https://www.fonts.com/], a font service from Linotype GmbH, Werner-Reimers-Straße 2-4, 61352 Bad Homburg. Web fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache so that they do not have to be loaded again and again. If your browser does not support the web fonts or prevents access to them, the content is shown in a standard type.

When type libraries are called, this automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is then theoretically possible that the operators of such libraries collect data – although it is unclear at present whether they do and, if they do, to what ends.

You can find the data privacy policies of the library operators here:

VISUELL has no knowledge of the content of the data collected by Vimeo or third-party providers and has no influence on their use.

a.) Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, Google will, however, truncate your IP address in the Member States of the European Union and in other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

Google will on behalf of the operator of this website use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address sent by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. If you do this, however, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Further, you can prevent collection and use of website-related data created by the cookie (including your IP address) by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB
An opt-out cookie that prevents the future collection of your data will then be set on your computer.

You can find further information on the terms of use and data privacy at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/en.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/.

Please note that Google Analytics code has been supplemented on this website by “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

In addition, or as alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link [Disable Google Analytics]. This installs an opt-out cookie on your device. This prevents data collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in future as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

To commit Google to processing of the transferred data only in accordance with our instructions and only in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, we have concluded a processing contract with Google. In the exceptional case that data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA and has been certified in this regard. Google has thus undertaken to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. Social Plugins

We offer you the use of so-called “social media buttons” on our website. To protect your data, we use the solution “Shariff” in implementing this function. As a result, these buttons are embedded on the website merely as graphics containing a link to the corresponding web page of the button provider. By clicking the graphic, therefore, you are forwarded to the services of the respective provider. Only then is your data sent to the respective provider. If you do not click this graphic, there is no communication between you and the provider of the social media button. You can find information on the collection and use of your data in the social networks in the respective provider’s terms of use. You can find further information on the Shariff solution here:

www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies in our website: Twitter, Facebook, Google + und Whatsapp.
